your favorite 2011 Ravens home game?

2011 is hands down the greatest season that the Ravens have ever had at home.. Only time they ever went 8-0.

Week 1 steeler beatdown, an epic defensive performance against the jets, the Harbowl, ravens greatest comeback ever against the cards, flacco's bombs against houston, the utter destruction of the irsays, three games at home where suggs had 3 sacks, etc.

So, other than the divisional game against hou, which one stands out as your favorite?

I honestly don't know that I could realistically imagine a better regular season game than week 1 against Pitt.

I think it might be the Ravens best regular season game ever. It's difficult to even imagine one being better in the future.

The season opener was the best IMO.

However, the niners game on Thanksgiving was fantastic.

Week 1 without a doubt.

The level of trash talking by Shittsburgh that off season was unbearable. We went out there, pwned them and set the tone for the rest of the year.

Pittsburgh by a mile. Total destruction. The hit on Mendenhall by Ngata was a Top 5 defensive play of the year.

I agree with everyone else that says the Steelers game Week 1 was the best. I was OC watching with my sister who is a big Steelers fan. It was quite entertaining.

Second would be the comeback against the Cards. I was at that game.

I have to also agree with the Week 1 game being my favorite. It was only one game,but we all walked out of the stadium that day with the feeling that it was going to be a great season.

My 2nd favorite was the Thanksgiving Harbaugh Bowl. We traditionally have the family over for Thanksgiving,but they all agreed to move it to Saturday. The wife and I were feeling a little guilty about that,but it turned out great. We had a kick-ass Thanksgiving tailgate with our friends and the enthusiasm in the stadium was much more electric than I expected.

Still, it was a good season overall.

Didn't make it to Pitt or San Fran, but I'm going to have to go with the Arizona game. Love the Big Comeback games just to see how the whole stadium rides the emotional roller-coaster. By the end of that one, 72,000 people were just going nuts as compared to the Boo Birds at halftime. That bomb to Torrey to set up the winning field goal was great way to end it as well.

The comeback against Arizona was great (just the comeback part, lol), the turkey night game was a lot of fun as was the Jets game and others. All of those mentioned are top 10 all time worthy for me. But #1 has got to be Week #1.

As an aside, my favorite game from all of last year would have to be SNF in Pittsburgh. Flacco to Smith went down, and I just about came out of my skin. We had friends staying with us with a toddler, so I ran out into my driveway and let out a primal scream. I get a little emotional just now thinking about it. God I love Ravens football.

The Sunday night game against the Jets was pretty wild, the lack of big plays offensively maybe hold it back from the others listed.

As will I. After that long winter and summer having to hear trash talk from Steelers fans and thinking about what could have been if Boldin/Housh held onto the ball or if Webb had stopped 3rd and 16.

Thanks to some issues with my cable I nearly missed that game. Ended up watching it on the standard def channel on my high def tv, and I think even the standard def was degraded. It was STILL the best game of the season, and it was a great season. I can't remember the last time I was so psyched - oh wait, halftime during the divisional playoff the year before. We all saw how that worked out.

Without a doubt, the week one pasting of the Steelers.

To quote Bob Ryan, "The Ravens didn't just beat the Steelers, they eviscerated them".

After our loss in the playoffs to them in 2010, it was especially satisfying to just grind them into dust. It set the tone for the season.

In the lead up to the game there was all this shit talk on their end about it not being a rivalry because they had won more in the last few years. To take that, beat their assess up and down the field and then rub their noses in it with that 2pt conversion was oh so sweet!
