Yesterday OBY was up, today Mitt is up, tomorrow it is OBY. It's always within the margin of error - 2-3 points for either one. Nobody can pull ahead.

Palin will galvanize those Christian voters if they let her speak at the Convention.

Pat Buchanan ran vs H Bush in the primaries. Pat of course represented the conservatives. He of course lost but Bush was forced to let him take the floor to talk to the conservatives and the conservatives voted for him as did the Christian Right.

The second time they didnt because he raised taxes so conservatives punished him by not voting or voting for Perot. Both Bush's understood the important of the conservative vote. Rove, Bennett and Mitt clearly do not.

On these social issues, Mitt is right that he has to keep talking on jobs and the economy. I mean just throw a bone or 2 to the Christians but like Pyite posted above, he flips on all those issus. He was the most pro gay guv in the country and now he says he is vs same sex marriage? I don't think so.


BTW, OBY has done a brilliant job of keeping him off the economy by attacking Bain. Mitt even demanded an apology. He's too busy
defending Bain. Chalk one up for OBY who's kicking his ass on
Bain.

That's the point. Obama is swinging and not getting a lot if any return for it (currently).

Far as I can tell the only people that the ads and attacks Obama are running are having an affect on are LOYAL Dems and conservative who want Romney to hit back now and HARD.

Because he needs to be swinging now. He lost his senate race in the 90s because he waited so long.
He's missing because he's too busy defending Bain
instead of hitting OBY now. He's had a couple of good
ads but OBY has had several blasting him.

Mitt should be winning by double digits with this economy and after Roberts. As the quote I posted above from Georgia, people down there just don't like or trust him.

Carville said OBYs likeability is the only thing keeping it close for him. People just don't like Mitt like that.

I said I was voting for him, besides somebody on here has to play devil's advocate since our guy hasn't been posting lately-lol.

That highway speech by OBY yesterday really touched Rush off. He went berzerk and MSNBC had fun making fun of Rush last night like when he said OBYs father
instilled his Muslim views on him and his mother was a leftist.

They said OBY only met his father once so how could he do anything to him. Rush also blamed the private schools for indoctronating OBY so they showed the pics of all the conservatives on SCOTUS that went to private schools and some presidents like the Bush's that belonged to the skulls.

Not a good day for Rush-lol.

But it wasn't a good day for OBY either by giving credit to the gov't for building the roads to the rich
peoples companies so they can get their trucks out.

Without the gov't they don't have those millions he said.

Speaking of roads, OBY doesn't even know how guys like Rockefeller made their millions. First he had to find the oil. Then he had to work it to bring it up. Then he had to get the oil to the markets.

There were no roads in the middle of the desert. No rail roads to take the oil out. He made his own trails for his wagons to haul the barrels of oil. He also had competition from competitors bringing their oil to the markets so he built a rail road track going across the middle of the desert so their wagons would be blocked from the towns they were getting to, so they dug tunnels underneath the tracks.

Rock figured another way to stop them and all the "independents" went broke and gave up and today Rock controls all the oil in the world.

But them dudes built their own roads and even tunnels.

OBY doesn't know a damn thing.

Regardless, the "religious right" better start realizing that there are other people in the party besides themselves? There aren't many Conservative Jews out there, but the more the Christian Conservatives keep pushing us aside for their agenda (like abortion, which shouldn't even BE a political issue), the less you need to wonder why Democrats get 80% of the Jewish vote. Or a majority of the non-affiliated vote. It's getting a bit old.

But none more than the 40M Christians voting as a block. they won every election
except Clinton's. Like I said, maybe Mitt waits for the right time to make his move in
clobbering OBY and reaching out to the Christians.

It would go a long way to the Christians since she is one if he gave her the floor at

Mitt came back from vacation and busted OBY on that stupid
highway speech mentioned above. Said it was an insult to
any enterperneur or business man.

Needs to hit him on jobs and economy.
