Re: We are your eyes at camp...what do you want us to look for?

Flacco is heading into his fifth season. Any chance he'll be able to call his own plays? If not, what will be done to speed up getting the plays to him, so there aren't so many plays during which everyone seems to have to rush to the line of scrimmage before the play clock runs out?

Did anybody ask about if the offense is running more 3 or maybe even 4 wr sets than before. Especially now with pitta down for a few.

When can we expect upshaw back at practice and is injury a concern or are they just being extra cautious with a rookie?

I'm rooting for him. Special teams players always have a shot. Harbaugh loves them because of his background.

I really don't know the answer, but with JJ gone (to S. D.) and Suggs injured, wouldn't you be cautious with Upshaw (?) ... Bc

I agree, it would be best to keep him out or practice a little longer when you have people like Kindle who can practice in his place and can use the reps. In the mean time when Upshaw is not practicing he can work on his weight and streghth.

I am anxious to learn more about the UDFA OT from Illinois. I heard Ozzie has been very impressed and that he took some reps with the first team.

    "OT Jack Cornell

The Illinois product is making the most of his opportunities while filling in for injured linemen, and he has even caught the attention of General Manager Ozzie Newsome, team Owner Steve Bisciotti said in a recent radio interview.

"Ozzie actually likes that right tackle that’s out there from Illinois undrafted,” Bisciotti said.

Cornell, 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, has worked at right tackle while Michael Oher has taken over for Bryant McKinnie on the left side. Right tackles Ramon Harewood (ankle) and Jah Reid (calf) have missed time during camp, which has given Cornell the chance to run some of the first-[hyphen]team reps.

He has held his own against the first-team defense and appears to be picking up the offense."

From what I've been reading he's been running with the #2's and #3's on offense. I saw him play at Syracuse a few games. Nice route runner and looks like a smart player.

I'm hoping he can be to the Ravens what Lance Moore is to the Saints. They are similar in build and skills. Moore started out as a ST's guy too.

Graham might have a tough time making the final 53 because he plays a position where there are pretty much 4 or 5 guys guaranteed a roster spot (Boldin, Torry, LaQuan, Doss, and Jacoby), so he is going to be battling with Tommy Streeter, Deonte Thompson, and some other UDFA guys for that 6th spot. Looking forward to seeing him in a game though.
When it comes to quarterbacks, don't pay attention to stats; pay attention to guys who make crucial plays at crucial times. -Gil Brandt
