Yeah, he is a warrior. Make fun of him all you want. That is the guy I want throwing the ball and running the offense when a game is on the line. If he gets injured and sits out, he will get made fun of. If he gets injured and plays, he will be chastised too. So, whatever. If he could manage to stay healthy, I would think the Steelers will be able to win a just a few more games. He is pretty important to the overall game plan, that is for sure.
If I recall right, many in Pittsburgh were upset because Ben would not sit and heal, he had to play because he's a warrior. His hard head and injuries caused the steelers to be one and done last year. Yea support even when it cost Steeler Nation the SB last year, shame the rest of the injured warrior gave up in the Denver game. Tebow kicked the number 1 defenses ass.

I think Big Jen spends too much time on WebMD.

Mixed bag there. My sense was some wanted him to play at any cost, and others wanted him to rest, as you say. Was a 60% Roethlisberger better than a 100% backup? I don't know. One thing there can be no doubt about is that he could have injured it further and caused more damage. That was a game Harrison was out too. Heck, I think Pouncey and a few other lineman were out too. At that point, I think we were a lock for the playoffs so it did not really matter. What I do remember is the lights going out.

That WebMD comment was pretty good. I think we have all used that at some point though! Word is a partial tear, more than likely it won't require any surgery any time soon.

I know a lot of Steeler fans, including myself, who agree that he's a drama queen. At first, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, years ago, but you can't justify all his public ailments now. Do I like it? No, but as long as he stays out of trouble with the law and wins games, I'm not gonna complain about his drama queen tendencies.

Boy, I thought "bruised ovaries" was his fallback injury, "stubbed camel toe" is much better. Perhaps "hyperextended labia"?

Now he's saying his ankle is hurt. And even the article says "so he claims" so it's not just us that doubt all these so called injuries that pop up every other week.

I think part of it also has to do with how open BR is about his injuries when most other players go to great lengths to conceal their injuries.
