    Notes from that first series:

Looked really good to begin with, and started to get momentum, Leach had a first down there if it wasn't for that BS call. Offensive line looked very good in pass pro, Leach made a nice block there, just goes to show that he can play in the hurry up. Bajema is really surprising me, and looked good out there.

Watching on the Preseason pass...Flacco looked good except the overthrow.

Big difference throwing in a game though.

Those are low probability passes. I agree that they need to work on those a bit more, but also that is what...his 2nd fairly deep pass in a game situation (the first being the miss to Jacoby last week)?

Blaine Gabbert looks a lot better (so far) than I thought he would.

Nice pass by Gabbert. Having Blackmon doesn't hurt either.

Jimmy Smith is really lacking in football instincts. That's not a scheme/injury thing. He just didn't see the curl route there and gave up the chains... despite having help over the top. Bad play there.

    Good coverage by Jimmy there.

Would have been nice to get the stop near the goal line, but nice recovery by Jimmy.

Jacoby Jones was begging for that ball to be stripped... you gotta tuck it up, son!

    Give it time.

    He's still figuring things out.

Blackmon is also earning a paycheck to you know. One of the things he was scouted highly on was being a very good route runner.

He does have a tendency to do that.

The regular refs call PI on Smith there about 80% of time. And they call block in the back on that punt return 99.9% of time. And the game is better off without either call.

McClellan looks good setting the edge, Jameel looked good getting off blocks. Reed looks faster/healthier.
