Not really. At least he is a proven commodity (even if he did pretty much hand us that playoff game). I feel more comfortable with him back there than one of the rookies, or webb or reed for that matter (from a potential injury standpoint).

As a return specialist, I hope he can be the catalyst for better and more consistent field position.


As a receiver, I hope he takes advantage of the opportunity and makes plays. If he plays like he did during the pre-season, I hope we see a lot of Pitta/Dickson/Doss in 3 WR sets.

This doesn't mean that Webb won't be doing any. He says he understands if the coaches keep him away from it, but he still wants to and says there may be times when he is needed to do so.
