That was the worst call of the night from my viewpoint....and the Official's official in the broadcast booth was no better. Webb made the hit with his shoulder, not the head, besides - wherever you shoulders go, your head is only several inches away. Are we playing football or two hand touch?

    Re: Officiating

Does anyone now think this is the level of incompetence they want out NFL refs? The spots have been shaky, they don't know basic rules of the game, and have been letting egregious penalties go throughout the game. Their performance has been laughable.

    That offensive PI

Was one of the worst calls in NFL history.

The dog rapist is allowed to avoid a sack by tossing the ball one yard while getting sacked, with no receiver anywhere in the area. Cool.

I havn't seen the Ravens get this screwed by the refs in a long time.

Countless bad penalties against the Ravens. None against the Eagles.

Roughing the passer on Reed. Bad call, resulting in a TD for the Eagles.

Personal foul on Rice. Bad call, as there was much worse pushing and shoving coming from both sides at the time. Gave Eagles better field position, and they scored a TD.

Pushing of by Jones. Bad call negating a TD.

Just before the Eagles go ahead TD, Vick did not fumble but it was clearly intentional grounding

When the Eagles were flagged twice, it was for the lesser illegal contact, rather than the pass interference it should have been.

I know there was more, but I just want to forget this game.

I guess if you have a dog killer or a rapist on your team, the refs will go out of their way for you.

The calls were so one sided, I thought we were playing the Steelers.

    Really? REALLY?

Did you see how wide open Celek was? Did you see the Eagles D-line crashing the pocket? Did you see Joe throwing into triple coverage?

That's not true. The Ravens got some calls too. There are no excuses for this loss. Team played very badly on offense and defense. No adjustments, very bad play calling. If it was a better team and not the Eagles, the Ravens would have been blown out. They have a LOT of work to do.

Don't blame the offense. Don't blame the defense. Blame the refs, and only the refs.

If they make the right calls, we win. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

    Bad thread, IMO.

I didn't see anything that puts this loss on the refs.

    De nile,

It ain't just a river in Egypt. Ravens looked like poop today and the refs had nothing to do with it.

They even gave Joe a gimmie 1st down on that last drive and he still couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Did you see Joe Flacco win the game with a beyond perfect touchdown pass, only to have it not count because of a fabricated penalty?

Maybe the Ravens played under par, but without the refs impacting no less than 3 scores, the Ravens would have won no matter how badly they played, so if anyone thinks you need to play 100% perfect to win a football game, I wonder how you come up with such an absurd thought.

Blame our coaches too for not recognizing that the refs could not be relied upon, and adjusting their offensive gameplan.

Run the ball, run the ball, run the ball if your not getting the PI flags--especially on 3rd & short.
