For some reason this year you can place bets on future games, usually the lines didn't come out until Tuesday morning every week.

Or maybe it is just the place I use, IDK.

Seems to me like people over-reacting to the poor performance yesterday by the Eagles. That game should be +3 in Phily. The season over/under for both teams was 10 IIRC.

I'm not sure anyone could possibly overreact to that stinkfest yesterday. The only reason the Eagles won was because the Browns were slightly more pathetic.

But if you look at the facts:

A: The Eagles still won.

B: The Eagles were on the road.

C: The Eagles will be at home for week 2.

D: They'll have an extra day of rest because we're playing tonight.

Hopefully, we'll pull it out, but I'm not too surprised with the line.

I don't expect them to, but if they play as bad as it seems they did Sunday the Eagles won't win next week. Since that is a Captain Obvious comment, I'll say that they won't last two quarters with the Ravens Sunday, if they play as badly as they did against Cleveland.

That line surprises me a bit but as the OP suggests, it won't stay there. It will move in the Ravens favor throughout the week. I wouldn't be surprised to see it at Ravens -4 or so by next weekend.

Yeah, that is line is definitely going to move big time. If the Ravens play as they did tonight, and the Eagles as they did yesterday, the Ravens will eviscerate them. Personally I expect the game to be pretty good, at least for a bit. I don't know that the Eagles can deal with this offense, and the Ravens have historically been able to shut Vick down.

It will open back up a pick em late tonight or in the morning, maybe even Ravens favored by a tiny bit.

The Eagles are still a very talented team. Vick played flat out terrible. They will be a tough match up especially at their place.

Line is now Eagles -2.5 at most places. Vegas seems to be banking on the public pounding the Ravens. Seems like Vegas doesn't think the Ravens are as good as they looked last night, and/or the Eagles aren't as bad as they looked Sunday.

Will be interesting to see how it moves throughout the week.
