    Speaking of bad QB performances...

Manning has 2 picks in the 1st quarter tonight.

Folks would be calling for Flacco's head in a pike.

Flacco would have to run out of town if he was playing this bad.

Crazy drop in performance (so far) for the head-thumb.

I said this last week...but it didn't matter then because he got the job done.

But his arm just doesn't look right. His passes are ducks, and it looks like he has to really put a lot behind his passes to get zip on the ball.

    Agreed.

The second pick looked especially floaty.

I did too. I watched him a couple of times in the pre-season and his ball looks to be about 85% of what it was back in the day, at best.

First, I don't know how Atlanta got the ball there...the Broncos player came out with the ball.

Second, Ray Edwards should have been ejected.

    Agreed on both counts.

How much longer can the NFL maintain the charade that the scabs are doing an adequate job? Or does it even matter? I suppose the NFL really does not care at all as long as they don't lose any revenue.

Re: Speaking of bad QB performances...

Flacco might have had the best season so far out of all quarterbacks. He's had 3 amazing halfs, and one bad half. BUT if the game-winning touchdown wasn't stolen by the refs, that would've been a good half.

Brady has two mediocre games. Manning has an amazing game and a train wreck. Rodgers two okay games. Brees an okay game and a Blech game.

Alex Smith, RG3, Flacco, and maybe Ryan have been the best quarterbacks so far.
