Seriously.. I think I freaked out my daughters (nearly 6 and 9) with that. Fingers covering my face watching the kick sail.... Not our best game, but winning ugly is still a win.

I watched all of the 1st and 2nd quarters. I watched all of the 4th. But for the 3rd, I had to turn off the TV and follow on ESPN GameCast. Our shadow-of-its-former-self defense was bugging me ... the good-but-not-quite-good-enough performance against New England once AGAIN seeming imminent ...

I hereby promise before everyone on this board, before whatever deity cares about football games, that I will never again switch off the TV. It's all or nothing. Our team never quit tonight, and that is admirable; they believed all the way.

If you look at the replay of the kick the fact that it was close was not on Tucker. It was a bad snap and the ball hit the ground in front of the holder. He was able to recover - but it took extra time and and this caused Tucker to be a little late on the kick - driving it off center - towards the right

it was a close kick but the fact that he made it will be good for his confidence. he obviously knows what happened last year and with this kick the ghost of Cundiff that might have been lurking around will disappear.
