Re: Game Thread -- Ravens v. Browns

Cribbs is a baller. I hope he's okay. That's not a penalty. It might have been a reflex seeing the helmet come off, or perhaps there was holding. While I type, Cribbs is up and walked off on his own power.

Good clean hit, just unfortunate what happened.

The Ravens need to get a scoring drive. There's no good can come from letting the score stay tied this long.

I hope Cribbs is ok. He's the one Cleveland Brown I've always liked.

This replay crap is slowing the games down way to much.
This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

Not sure what Gene is looking at. Jumbotron clearly shows fumble.

Re: Game Thread -- Ravens v. Browns

Pretty sure that's not the refs on the field calling for the review. That's the replay official in the booth

We better not lose the ball on a stupid technicality

So what the fuck? Since his helmet flew off we might not get the fumble? Whose bullshit idea was that?

What the fuck! The play is over when the helmet leaves the body? Holy shit, that's going to produce some effed up plays.

Replay rules definitely need to change. Get rid of the challenges, and put the head of the crew in the replay booth. He can review ever play and send down to the ref if he thinks it's the wrong call. Give him 15 or 20 seconds to make a decision, and make everything reviewable.

The object should be to get the calls right. If he's wrong too much, demote him and put someone else in that spot.
