Point spread now up by +5 for Mitt

He's getting the indies and keeps chipping away
at O's support groups as his lead widens.

I keep tellen you guys it doesn't matter what
OBY does in the next debate. He lost the election
last week as Romney is breaking this wide open.

See thread where R is leading in the 11 battleground states. O won all those states in 08.

He's losing it. He lost it even in the electoral race.

Mitt definitely has the momentum, if Ryan has a strong performance tonight it will only add to it.

    Disagree.

Tonight is just political theater. IMO, tonight cannot help or hurt either candidate, baring one of them pissing themselves live on national TV,

Very true, but I don't see the MSM pointing out any gaffes he may have tonight.

But rest assured, if Ryan utters one too many "umms", they will be on it like flies on shit.

Oh, it's political theater no doubt and something for the media to talk about for a week.

But I didn't say it would widen the lead in the polls.

I think it can only add to the momentum if Ryan does well, if he flops it well slow it, if they come out even no big deal. Ryan at least (because he's so young) has to come off capable and competent to do the job of POTUS.

Anyone else find it funny when Biden kept using the word malarkey or when he emphatically stated that Obama does indeed have a big stick?

How that man got elected to public office is beyond me.

I can't believe the things that came out of Biden's mouth that no one pressed him on. The whole "Syria is 5x bigger than Lybia" thing just absolutely killed me.

    He was horrible.

The main thing I can't believe he didn't get called on is"we didn't get any request for additional security for Libya" and "the intelligence told us it was a response to a video" Both HUGE lies.

Oh BTW another poll has Mitt up 7 in Virginia backing up Suffolk pulling out of polling there.

And Rassmussen has Romney at 51% in Florida. Obama is in for a rude awakening in November.

I didn't realize how far off he was.

Libya is - of course - much larger, but less densely populated. It appears Syria has about 3.3 times more people than Libya crammed into a land mass about 1/9th the size of Libya's (ignoring the fact that much of Libya is - I think - unihabitable) which is probably what he was trying to say. He didn't say that though, did he.

Just as long as Romney keeps up exactly what he's doing now.

I would like to see him go on the most high profile stage he can and call out the White house for lying about Libya. He can do it in the next debate but I just wonder what Obama would jump in and say.

I'm not 100 percent sure Romney has to say anything more at this point. This whole Libya lie is unraveling in front of the President all on its own. This might dog him until the election.

For you and I yes, but (predictably) the media is ignoring this, this denial and coverup is a full fledged scandal.

People should be getting fired over this, lots of people, but it will never happen, because that would admit that BHO didn't unite the world and playing nice doesn't work.

Read this sentence as if it was uttered by any Republican:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man."

    -Joe Biden
    As opposed to what, Joe?

Keep in mind thats Joe Biden describing Obama when Biden was running for POTUS.
