He got two hands on it, he should catch it. He is an NFL player. No excuse, he lost concentration because he didn't expect Flacco to be able to get the ball off accurately.

It hit him in the fingers, there is a difference. I am no sure Pitta catches that, but if he does, he just has much stronger fingers, it was way out there.

You can't let them run a slant on 3rd and 2. That is the number one easiest pass to complete.
