It was a fantastic fiery start. But the O has gone into it's shell, as it does every so often. The question is whether they can come out of their funk and sort it out, otherwise this is a blowout.

Nothing at all wrong with the play calls, get over yourself. The problem is the offensive line. You can't just not trust your offensive line and never pass the ball. It's unexpected and quite pathetic when the o line can't prevent pass rushers from getting a clear shot at the quarterback in under two seconds.

Well, Cam ran it twice. I hope the four yards total doesn't turn him off of the run. Getting Rice involved in the passing game would be good, too, but they've rarely called plays for Rice coming out of the backfield. He's always been effective as a check down.

The safety is on Joe- you have to get rid of the ball quickly in that situation. He needs to rebound from that and the tipped pass interception and get into a rhythm. I think he can do it. He earned the nickname "Joe Cool." It's times like this that attribute is a virtue

He would have had to start winding up to pass the instant the ball hit his hands. There was no possible way there would have been somewhere to go with the ball in that case, except to throw it away. You are literally asking for a play call where Flacco just takes a snap and then throws it away to avoid the sack instantly. It's ridiculous to suggest that. He had no time to get the snap and set to throw because the o line didn't protect him for even two seconds time to let a play develop. Not on Flacco, it really isn't.
