Re: Game Thread: Ravens infiltrate the Factory of Sadness - @ Browns
Ugly...ugly end of this half after such a great start.
Offense goes 3 and out and defense let's the Browns march down the field without even having to use a single time out.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Criminal mistakes all around to give up that field goal attempt. When didn't we run the ball on 3rd down to force them to burn that last timeout at least?

I hang more of this on the dline than the secondary. No pressure whatsoever.

Been quite a while since I've seen Suggs have such a quiet game. Thomas is excellent.

Hopefully another TD drive to start the 3q, get the momentum back. If they don't - or worse, go 3 and out, it could get difficult.

Re: Game Thread: Ravens infiltrate the Factory of Sadness - @ Browns
It is so unfair to blame the corners... Granted, they might not scare a quarterback, but our front 7 certainly doesn't help them out. Anytime a quarterback does not have a pressure, the quarterback will make those throws regardless. The d-line needs to do a better job of collapsing the pocket and pressuring the goddamn QB for christ sake.
