Election Day 2012 Thread
Well here it is.
If you're like me, you'll be geeking out in front of the TV, remote in hand and bouncing between the various news outlets.
Are the polls right and Obama has a razor thin win? Or are the GOP claims of over sampling accurate and this one goes to Mitt?
Virginia will be the tell tail sign tonight. Polls there close early at 7:00 PM EST. If Obama has a lead after the western part of states results come in, that will be the first indication that the poll numbers are accurate. If Mitt starts to pull away around 10pm, then the GOP has hope.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Re: Election Day 2012 Thread
The town of Dixville Notch, NH was the first town to vote at midnight according to
tradition of the last 40 years.
Both OBY and Mitt got 5 votes each. OBY won the first town with another tiny NH town
23-9.
Voting is heavy in FLA. Long lines.

Re: Election Day 2012 Thread
I'll be going to lunch around 12:30 and then vote. I used to hate the
long lines in Bel Air after getting up a 6 am coming home at 6:30
and standing in line for 1.5 hours. I hated it.
But recently Bel Air added more polling places and there were no
lines in last several elections Of course it's easier now that Im
retired and everyone at work at noon.Pic of a natural act.

I'm in Utah for work and there is a massive line outside the senior center next to my hotel.
It's either a polling place or a free buffet.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. South Jordan.
Yeah, I'm going to give this state to Romney. It might be close though.
By the way, unconfirmed reports of Black Panthers in Ohio now.

Dan Rather apparently said this on MSNBC a few minutes ago:
"Something in my gut tells me that it’s going to be a good day for Romney"
