Seriously, I only have 1,500 rounds in the safe. It's starting to look like a Soviet grocery store.

On another note. This could be another thread but with the low activity here it could stay too.

Do you think the NDAA stays as is or will there be enough lawsuits or pressure to change some of it?

Can't happen. Don't own any 7.62 caliber weapons.

Haven't heard any controversies surrounding the NDAA. Enlighten me.

Far as I know the ACLU was supposed to be hot on the trail. I have my doubts though.

I have not had a ton of time to read up on it, I just remember when they were debating it things like having 2 weeks of food stored up could classify you as a potential threat.

I'll read up on it more, when/if I have the time.

Buying my friend's remmington 700 off of him. He got it brand new a few years ago and only used it once or twice. It is a right handed gun and he is a lefty. He cleaned it and vacuum sealed it. Has a scope too.

I am pretty excited to get it. A 270 is one of my favorite rifles to shoot.

Well, I dont plan on buying ammo in bulk...so a case here and there should be ok for me. Hoping it wont be too bad.

I stopped by Dick's to see if they had any grip tape to make y 40 more comfortable. Any way they had nothing at all. Literally NOTHING but shotgun, that is it.

However, I was at the range this weekend taking my CCW course they had plenty of .40 and .45 but only were selling 1 box of 9mm per person...

Had dinner with a friend of mine last night who works for one of the law enforcement agencies in the federal government and the topic of ammo came up.

His agency has not done required qualifications for the last three years. Thus, there's been no new orders for ammo those past three years as well. He tells me the other agencies are in the same boat.

Hence, the feds have been buying up ammo to replace stock and to take into account the tens of thousands of agents who still need to qualify.

It's the perfect ammo shit storm.

That sucks! I am able to get some from my local range who has upgraded the quality they get. Can you still not find any anywhere?
