How bad is our pass rush that Carson Palmer was flat on his back for like three seconds before anyone even touched him?

It's because he had that pick 6.

He has done a nice job capitalizing on INT's, but man...his overall coverage ability is seriously lacking.

Art was out there on that series. I'd expect Tyson to get some looks today though.

    lol...I noticed that too.

Carson looked shocked that nobody touched him after laying on the ground for a second and a half, then halfheartedly tried to get up.

If it were another QB with any athleticsm, he could have easily gotten up.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Have to give da Raiders props for going for it on 4th down. Of course, I am happy that his lineman stepped on Carson's foot--heh heh.

He went down because Cody got great push and forced the RG onto Palmer's foot, and then stayed there because he had given up on the play and the d was smartly avoiding a roughing call.
