Will someone please teach this defense how to tackle.

Reed had nothing to do with that TD. That was all on Pollard's pathetic attempt at a tackle.

Ed wasn't involved in that play at all. It was run to the opposite side of the field that he was in coverage in.

Pollard blows it twice on consecutive plays. Who said Leftwich was immobile?

Great. Spotted them a TD and are behind the 8 ball already.

I agree, but they should know that the flags are going to fly in this game.

They should also be aware that Wallace lined up on Cary is a mismatch. Where was Ed Reed on that with over-the-top-coverage?

I mean, if they're going to give up yards, fine, but at least keep it underneath.

Yep gotta be up to Joe and the offense to get this win.

But something tells me that the Steelers aint gonna be able to do that all game.

our high school defense is showing up. a success for art jones would be just to stay on his feet through one whole play.

It's time to cut this killshot bullshit out. Pollard should have squared up and tackled Leftwich.

Saw the replay...holy shit Pollard...what a shitty pathetic effort. WOW.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

I think that pretty much is a reason why they should make a change with the PI penalty though.

    42 yards is ridiculous.

No penalty should be over 15 yards.

Atta boy Flacco, throw a 5 yard pass into double coverage on third and 7.

Nice start, spot the Stealers 6 and then go 3-and-out.
