So the play is not reviewable because Schwartz threw a challenge flag? What kind of crazy rule is that?

The rule is if a coach throws the challenge flag on a play that is not challengeable the ruling automatically goes in favor of the other team.

That is the most retarded thing I've heard. It should be about getting the call right. Not who benefits.

    Yep.

Quirky rule, but its the right call. I was wondering why Schwartz kept saying "it's on me". Now I know why.

The Refs got the call right according the rules but that rule is terrible.

Schwartz should know that all scoring plays are reviewed. I think he'lll have a lot of time - and I mean a lot of time - to think about it after the season is over.

I was watching NFLN and they had a league official explaining the rule because it happened in the Falcons Cards game when Mike Smith threw the flag in a similar situation.

Basically what the league official said was the rule is in place to not disrupt the flow of the game. The rule makes sense, but the punishment hardly seems to fit the crime.

Just make the penalty 15 yards after the review. If its not a td bring the ball back and give them 15 yards.

Isn't the 15 yards enough? They got a td and 15 yards
