Hmm. Cams offense is the equivalent of country music.

Lol. Country is uncreative? The entire genre of rap is based on sampling others music. That's the definition of uncreative.

All I know is that the next time someone on this board puts Joe and Romo in the same class of quarterbacks, I think my head is going to explode.

Even though I should have said it that's what I meant. We play them on the road and we're below average offensively on the road.

Well compared to David Bowie, Roxy Music, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, Beatles, YES, Brian Eno, MGMT, etc etc country is horrifically uncreative and bland. And really, the majority of their chord progressions and "melodies" are barely any better than sampling.

And flavorflav plays 15 instruments very well. And listen to the song "Kim" by Eminem, for rap music much more creative and artful than the vast majority of country music.

Country is great if I'm in the mood. Makes me remember my childhood. Prefer rock & roll.

Well, not yet. I just wanted to include a current band. However, listen to their songs Metanoia and Siberian Breaks and you'll see what I'm talking about. Metanoia is an absolute masterpiece, and one of the most unique sounds I've heard.

Being the most creative or technical doesn't automatically make something good music. Nor does simple music make it bad because its simple. Music isn't black and white.

Quality is objective to a degree. You're right about taste though.

I might be a bit frustrated because I've been watching this show called x factor this year, and there is actually a 13 year old girl on it with an EXTRAORDINARY voice, yet she's come in second place two weeks in a row to Tate Stevens, an incredibly mediocre country singer. So the country craze has me confused.

Agreed...it's just that you named some heavy hitters there! I would say that tool belongs on that list and grizzly bear could be an honorable mention.

This is all that need be said about the quality of country music today.

Country has become the new rock. Pop became crap.

I do have to give some credit to the avett brothers though. They associate themselves as a country band (though they seem alternative to me), and they are very talented musicians and have great lyrics.

If you were to consider Ram by Paul McCartney as a country album, it could be the best country album of all-time.

Yeah, this one is cooked. Four TD's for RG3. Amazing.

I think RG3 is going to win multiple superbowls in his career.
