Ravens defense showed up when they had to and did what they failed to do in 2013…get off the field in the 4th quarter. Nice team win despite some shaky tackling in the secondary. – Tony Lombardi

How many QBs do you want to lead a game-winning drive over Joe Flacco? Despite the dubious decision by Harbaugh to challenge a QB sneak earlier, the team prevailed in a tough environment. Great road victory. – Dev Panchwagh

After what looked like the defense was imploding throughout the afternoon, they stood fast when it mattered most. The offense despite the loss of Pitta, never quit. There could be a running back controversy on the horizon as rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro looked solid in his NFL debut. Never easy, never pretty seems to be the motto once again for the Ravens. While the Ravens escaped the “Mistake by the Lake” with a “W” the injury bug struck big causing depth concerns for the Ravens heading into week 4. – Brian Bower

A couple of 3rd down stops makes up for an otherwise less than stellar effort from the defense. After watching this game, the two biggest things that stand out are Matt Elam’s very poor performance and that the Cleveland Browns will be giving a lot of teams trouble this year. In the end the team made plays when it mattered. – Tyler Lombardi

Tackling and coverage in the secondary was atrocious.  Webb was available, but didn’t start the game and was in only for nickel packages that I noticed.  Chykie was on the field for several plays and the ball has a way of finding him when there.  The cap impact of the loss of Pitta and Rice in a 2 week span is potentially devastating.  Good Luck Dennis! – Ken McKusick

Well, the Ravens showed absolutely no effects of any of the off-field stuff bothering them at all. For as good as the D was last week, they were that bad this week. They just could not make any tackles and overall the secondary was awful. But, the D showed up in the 4th when needed. The offense, especially the O-line, Tight Ends, and running backs, were great. Pitta’s injury is so depressing for him, but Ravens have weapons to fill in. Some suspect play calling, especially going for it on 4th down early in the 4th instead of taking the points. Most of my BOLD Predictions were dead on. – Joe Polek

Billy Cundiff missed a field goal, had one blocked, and Justin Tucker kicked a 32-yarder for the game-winner. You can’t make this stuff up. Lorenzo Taliaferro looks like a stud, but the Dennis Pitta injury puts a damper on the entire afternoon. – Derek Arnold

I thought Taliaferro and Juszczyk would get involved in Week 2; I was off a Week. Their contributions, and again establishing a running game was encouraging. Down on losing Pitta, feel for him. Primary takeaway is that Ravens did just enough to earn a needed road win – improving to 2-1 overall, and in the AFC North. – Chris Stoner

Steve Smith makes a huge impact for the third straight week. Perhaps the biggest takeaway from this game is the resiliency of the Ravens. Great division win.  – Ryan Jones

Not the most impressive of wins by any means. But for a team that struggled mightily on the road last season, to sneak out of Cleveland with the win makes it easier to depend on this team on the road this year.  Lorenzo Taliaferro looks like someone who needs more carries even when Bernard Pierce is healthy. When/if will Matt Elam ever take the leap he needs to make in his second year? Starting to look like he may never learn how to cover.  – Kyle Casey

Cleveland played well, very well in fact, until it mattered most. Baltimore hurt themselves with poor tackling in the secondary and clueless coverage by Matt Elam. But in the end, they pounded the Browns on the ground and leaned on who I believe is the best kicker in the game, Justin Tucker, to win the game as time expired. – Mike Fast

Defense wins Championships? How about SPECIAL TEAMS? Wow. Great effort by Brian Hoyer. Billy Cundiff helps the Ravens in a big way! – Joe Wedra

It’s a good thing the Ravens weren’t playing Drew Brees, or Matt Flynn, or Cam Newton or any other good quarterback on this year’s schedule.  They would have absolutely torched our secondary.  Lardarius Webb does not belong on the field yet.  The loss of Pitta is a huge concern.  We won this game on Justin Tucker’s foot and some questionable playing calling by Mike Pettine and the Browns’ coaching staff.  But you know what?  We won on the road, we’re 2-1, and I’ll take it. – Fran the Fan
