Offensive playmakers must finally step up

We know Ray Rice will show up.
We know the offensive line has to step up. The O-line has probably been the worst unit for the team in all of the nine playoff appearances they have had in franchise history, but while they are vital to the team’s success, we know every team has issues along their offensive lines.
And there’s Joe Flacco, so the topic of which Flacco shows up is a given.
The units that must play well are the wide receiver and tight end positions. They must come through. There are no excuses this year. The players on offense believe they have the talent to do what they need to do. So let’s see it.
Last year, much was made about the Ravens not being able to get open during the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the Houston Texans. They played better next game but Lee Evans had the critical miscue that lead to the Ravens falling short once again in their quest for the Super bowl. Now, there have been changes to offense as coordinator Cam Cameron was fired.
It always seems interesting as a Ravens fan when you watch other teams around the league with similar or limited personnel have success getting open. Us as Raven fans, we have never really seen that. Now is the time to see it. Dennis Pitta, Anquan Boldin and Ed Dickson must work the middle of the field as Jacoby Jones works down the field with Torrey Smith.
Flacco has gotten much of the blame in the passing game but he can’t anymore. It has to be equal.
Let’s see them move a LB in space through the zones. It’s what Anquan Boldin has done his entire career. Let’s see some tight ends clearing areas of the field.
The Colts have said they are going to be physical with the Ravens’ receivers, so let’s see some bunch formations, some motion, and some players winning one-on-one battles.
This team has seen everything. I don’t know about the rest of you, but the atmosphere for this team screams enough is enough. It’s put up or be eliminated.
We know they are up for the task.
