Baltimore Ravens defensive end Arthur Jones teamed up with Brick Bodies Gym in Reisterstown, Maryland on Tuesday night December 18 for their inaugural Holiday Toy Drive.

Jones, along with several teammates including Jah Reid, Terrence Cody, Bryan Hall and DeAngelo Tyson, were on hand collecting toys to benefit the children of St. Vincent’s Villa.

The Ravens’ 2010 draft pick knew from his own experience what it was like to grow up without the same things that other kids had. “Growing up in Rochester and Endicott New York we were less fortunate. We didn’t have much. I remember the times just having family and each other was more than enough. We all had one gift and we shared it all together,” stated Jones when asked about his  holiday memories.

Visitors who dropped off toys were greeted by Arthur and his teammates who were full of smiles and posed for numerous pictures with donors. “These guys are huge,” one donor stated while posing with them. “These guys being here to assist Brick Bodies with their toy drive speaks volumes. I mean they have so much other stuff on their plates with football and for them to be here shows they have big hearts,” added another who dropped off a bag load of toys for the kids.

“This is what it is all about, being able to give back and help out Brick Bodies in order for the children to have a great holiday,” said Jones.

No doubt the children of St. Vincent’s Villa will have a brighter holiday when they receive toys that were collected last night.
