After reading the ridiculous ranking of 19 on Bleacher Report (Gino Smith and the Jets higher, seriously???) I was happy to read this ranking of 7. For me though, the next few weeks of full contact practice needs to happen with flashes from the offense and the expected speed and physical play from the defense before I’m comfortable with 7. I have extremely high hopes for this team and if they stay healthy I think they’re more than justified. Our present day media, Russell Street excluded, have memories which are far too short. This franchise has done some very impressive things during their short stay with the NFL and Flacco is quite a bit better than he gets credit for. Too many poorly written analyses target him as the culprit of last year’s demise. Give me a break, Brady or Manning may have gotten them in the playoffs but I am 180% certain neither would have even gotten the team in the superbowl behind that line which functioned like a sieve. I can’t wait for the pre season games and the opener, GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVVVVE the Ravens but wow 7th. Sorry, but I have to go 10-16 range for me. Hopefully Florio is right and I am wrong. If I had to pinpoint a spot I say around 14.

I’d put them maybe a couple spots lower. But then I think NFL Power Rankings in July are about as meaningful as a 2017 Mock Draft.

exactly we were lucky to be 8-8 solely because flacco stole some late game wins last year…. if out oline isnt better we may be looking at 6-10. If our o line is average we can win 10 games
