Ravens @ Steelers Friday Injury Report and Game Status

As the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to meet for the first time in the 2013 season at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, it still doesn’t really “feel” like Ravens/Steelers week. According to our own resident football historian Kurt Backert, this week marks the first time since Week 7 of the 2002 season that these two squads have met with neither possessing a winning record (not including 0-0 records).

11 years to the week. Think about that for a second…Joe Flacco was just 17 years old the last time this happened. Now, he has a Super Bowl ring and Super Bowl MVP, which he’ll carry into Pittsburgh looking to leave the Steel City with a win for the fourth straight season.

On the injury front, the Steelers are relatively healthy, having had their bye week two weeks ago. For the Ravens, it looks like Josh Bynes’ absence will open the door for Jameel McClain to get his first game action since last December (and for rookie Arthur Brown to get on the field more). Here are your Friday practice injury reports and game statuses for both squads.
