We know you’re all sick of hearing/reading/seeing candidates and interest groups falling over themselves trying to earn your vote for this or that in that other election thing that’s coming up soon.

So are we.

Which is why we’re about to do the same thing!

Wait, what?

Yeah…sorry, but we’re about to join the chorus of fools yelling in your ear saying “VOTE FOR ME!”

However, our election is one that’s a lot more fun and more enjoyable, I promise! We just want you to help us win a “Best Pro Sports Blog” award.

Much easier to stomach than “vote this” for question whatever or “vote him” for generic lying politician, right? Right.

For the past several years, the Baltimore Sun has hosted a Most Outstanding Blogs (MOBbies) in Maryland award contest. The winners are decided by popular vote, which is where you come in.

The Russell Street Report family is nominated in five different categories:

So please, click here to go to the Mobbies page and vote for us in one, two, three, four, or all five categories – depending on how nice you’re feeling and what you think we deserve, of course! You can vote once per day through 5 PM on November 9. It requires a login, but fret not! If you don’t have a Baltimore Sun account, you can log in through various other platforms, such as Google, Twitter, Facebook, and others. So you have no excuse to not vote!

We truly appreciate your help as we try to win a Mobbie or two!
