Week 15 Fantasy Notes & Positional Rankings

Panthers, Panthers have never won at Reliant Stadium, losing a regular season game in 2003 there, and later that season they lost SB XXXIII to the Patriots

Bengals, WR Jerome Simpson has had five 100 yard receiving games in his brief NFL career, he faces a Ram pass defense that is allowing the fifth most fantasy points to wide receivers

Cowboys, Tony Romo has 5 scoring throws and no interceptions his last 2 games….he has great match up against the Buccaneers 27th ranked pass defense this week….although Miles Austin is back WR Laurent Robinson will still get targets

Broncos,   during the last three weeks, WR Demaryius Thomas has caught three of Tim Tebow’s 4 touchdown passes

Lions, RB Kevin Smith will start against a below average Raider run defense

Packers, WR Gregg Jennings might miss just two weeks with his injured knee but that all but ends any fantasy value he had

Houston, While RB Arian Foster is on the top of my running back rankings this week, Ben Tate can be started also this week, the Panthers have allowed the second most fantasy points to running backs and when Tate has faced soft run defenses this year he has done well, 115 yards and a score against the Browns and sixty three yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers

Colts, The last time the Colts were 0-13 was in 1986, Ron Meyer took over as head coach in week 14 and the Colts won their last three games, beating the Falcons on a late blocked punt, beating the Raiders at the Los Angeles Coliseum, and they finished the year by beating Hall of Famers Jim Kelly and Marv Levy and the Bills 24-14

Saints, WR Lance Moore has scored in four of his last six games, he has a solid match up against a Viking secondary that does not cover well

Giants, TE Jake Ballard is a solid play Sunday against a pass defense that allows the third most fantasy points to TE’s

Jets, RB Shonn Greene has 301 yards and four touchdowns his last two games…he faces an Eagle run defense that has allowed Marshawn Lynch and Reggie Bush a combined 278 yards their last two games

Raiders, RB Darren McFadden will miss another game with his injured foot, meaning another start for Michael Bush….QB Carson Palmer has a nice math up this week; the Lions will be missing DBs Chris Houston, Aaron Berry, and Louis Delmas

Eagles, Michael Vick will play against the Jets with his sore ribs Sunday

Titans, RB Javon Ringer has been placed on injured reserve with a broken hand

Redskins, RB Roy Helu has 430 combined yards in his last three games and 4 touchdowns, making him a solid RB 1 against the Giants this week.
