OWINGS MILLS – As a potential draft pick for the Baltimore Ravens, University of Houston quarterback Kevin Kolb remains in heavy demand.

After visiting the Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles last week, Kolb is preparing to meet with the New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans this week.

Plus, the New England Patriots are conducting a private workout with Kolb.

The Conference USA Player of the Year is regarded as a potential second round or third-round selection.

Kolb said he was impressed by Ravens coach Brian Billick and offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Rick Neuheisel.

“Brian Billick is a nice guy, and it seems like their main focus is figuring out how you will fit into their team,” Kolb said. “They want to see how the chemistry is going to work with their individual system. It was great to talk football and hunting and fishing with Rick Neuheisel.

“I’m really not nervous. I’m just anxious to see what city I’m going to live in. That’s my main focus right now. It would be great to be in Baltimore, but you never know what’s going to happen.”
