OWINGS MILLS —  The Baltimore Ravens now have five tight ends left on the roster heading into training camp in Westminster after cutting former University of Maryland tight end Rob Abiamiri.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound former practice squad member spent the summer with the Berlin Thunder’s practice squad after being allocated to NFL Europe by the Ravens.
A Baltimore native and a Mt. St. Joseph graduate, Abiamiri is the older brother of Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive end Victor Abiamiri.
He was signed by Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in 2005 after going undrafted.
