10 Storylines the Media Needs to Cover during Ravens training camp- Yes, that sigh you can hear is the MW looking to the heavens and thanking the sports gods for the start of Ravens training camp.

Now that camp has officially started it’s time to compare the local and national media on how well they cover the Ravens. We should expect the local media to fair much better on Ravens coverage, but for the sake of competition it’s only fair to let the national outlets have their shot. With that said, I have compiled a list of 10 storylines I want to see covered during training camp. Throughout camp I will be checking as much local and national radio, TV and web coverage as possible to see who comes out on top.

  1. How well is RB Willis McGahee picking up the offensive system?
  1. How will Rex Ryan use Jarret Johnson and other players to replace the loss of Adalius Thomas?
  1. Will Brian Billick have a more open offense this year now that QB Steve McNair should be more comfortable with the system?
  1. Who is expected to get more touches as the backup RB…Musa Smith or Mike Anderson?
  1. Who is winning the third string QB competition…Drew Olson or Troy Smith?
  1. How is OT Jared Gaither looking?
  1. Who is winning the competition for the #4 WR slot…Clarence Moore or Devard Darling?
  1. Is rookie Yamon Figurs going to challenge B.J. Sams for the starting KR spot?
  1. Will rookie OL Ben Grubbs see much time this year?
  1. How is CB Samari Rolle looking after a sub-par 2006 season?
