1ST ROUND PICK – QB JOE FLACCO:

SIGNED: 5-year deal, $8.75M in guaranteed money, maximum total value of close to $30M.

Flacco received a $1.005 M roster bonus this season and roster bonuses of $2.1 million in each of his final four seasons. He’ll receive a $4.96M option bonus in 2009. The deal also has escalators each year from 2009 to 2012 and a $2.1M NLTBE incentive in 2012.

The $8.75M guaranteed money is likely as follows: $1.005M + $4.96M + $2.1M + $295K + $385K = $8.745M. Basically, all money due in the first 2 years is guaranteed.

Flacco’s Salary Cap charges will be as follows:
