Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North:
- Baltimore Ravens defensive end/linebacker Terrell Suggs is having an impressive start to training camp.
Morning take: Suggs is coming off a rare down year in 2009. But look for a motivated “T. Sizzle” to get back to form this season.
- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie receiver Emmanuel Sanders is making strides this summer.
Morning take: I was impressed with what I saw from Sanders during my time in Latrobe. Pittsburgh has had success with receivers taken in the third round lately (see Mike Wallace).
- Cleveland Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme threw three interceptions in practice Thursday.
Morning take: When Delhomme throws picks, they often come in bunches.
- Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom, who is returning from an Achilles injury, is key to the defense.
Morning take: At one point Odom was Cincinnati’s best pass-rusher before the injury. If he’s healthy, that would be a big boost in that area.
