KIDZ KORNER: After that, all we can do is vent

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The first few days after a Ravens loss feel miserable. We all know that your work week will be about 50% less productive because of how upset you are. But hey, that’s what makes us real fans!

We have a reason to be upset. Let’s be honest, Charlie Batch? Dear Mr. Dean Pees, how in the world can you not be prepared for a 38-year old, washed up QB?

I really like writing “Victory Monday” articles, but this one will be just as good. If John Harbaugh was at a town hall meeting, here would be the top 5 questions asked:

1: How can you let your team be so unorganized and waste a critical Time Out to start the 2nd Half?

What poor clock management! Playing at home should be an advantage, not a time to waste a timeout. You have to know that this could be a tight one at the end and you might actually NEED the TO. How can you let your offense do that?

2: Why did you challenge an obvious pass that was clearly a forward pass even on the big screen?

You might be able to blame this one on Harbaugh’s team upstairs, but really? Everyone knew from the moment they saw the first replay. Jim Nantz and Phil Simms were practically laughing at this one.

3: What do you see in Cam Cameron and why haven’t you confronted his coaching style?

This one is the obvious one, but there might be something that people are overlooking. John Harbaugh has the ability to do whatever he wants when it comes to the offense. He needs to man up, be a real coach and make a change. This is getting out of hand.

4: Do you have a reason for not scoring before halftime?

Every good team has to be aggressive. If you want to succeed in the NFL, you have to take chances. Yes, Cam Cameron has the immediate decision, but Harbs again, must step up. A field goal before halftime would have been a total game-shifter. And what did we lose by? A field goal.

5: Did you prepare your team for an “old-fashioned Steelers-Ravens game”?

This is the one that fires me up. I would love to know if Coach prepared his players all week for a close game. If he did, shame on him. This Steelers team is one you should beat every day of the week. The Ravens once again, played down to their opponents, something a coach should take some blame for.

It’s clear we were out-coached in this one. And it is a shame that we can’t ask Coach these questions ourselves.

Feel free to add on any questions you have in the comment box. Even though they might not get to Coach Harbs, it will make you feel a TON better putting them out there!
