The Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII victory parade on Tuesday was a time that those in attendance will likely never forget.
M&T Bank Stadium was filled with an estimated 95,000 to watch the Ravens celebrate their second Super Bowl victory. Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets and packed inside the stadium to get a glimpse of the players and a Vince Lombardi Trophy full of fingerprints.
The fun event almost took a turn for the worse as a running back Ray Rice nearly suffered a major injury when the vehicle pulling his parade float abruptly stopped, sending Rice flying off of the float and quickly onto the bumper of the towing vehicle.
Hey diddle diddle, Ray Rice almost hit the middle of a truck bed.
Luckily for Rice, he has made millions of dollars for his quick reactions and even though he had just played in the biggest game of his life, his reactions weren’t in offseason mode. He immediately caught himself in a push-up position, jumped back to his feet and smiled about the whole thing. Meanwhile, Baltimore has never been so happy to see Rice with all of his teeth.
