Well, we are back at it again at Mockone.net and #mockfive on Twitter with the fifth installment of mocking the NFL draft.
I am your resident general manager for the Ravens in mock five.
I tried to trade down, but, finding no offers that I liked, I picked Louisiana State University linebacker Kevin Minter with the last pick of the first round.
Here are two descriptions of Minter from scouts.
Rob Rang, CBS Sports
Compares to: DeMeco Ryans, MLB, Philadelphia Eagles
Like Ryans, Minter is slightly undersized and relies on his instincts and reliable tackling ability — rather than sheer explosiveness — to accumulate impressive stat-lines.

NFL Comparison: Takeo Spikes
He might only have one full season in the starting lineup, but Minter was easily the most consistent defender on a very talented LSU defense during the 2012 season. The junior fills lanes with force and takes great angles to work through trash while finishing tackles authoritatively. Some evaluators may have a concern with his lateral speed since Minter seemed to reach running backs with just enough time to spare, not to mention his tendency to lose ground when forced to open his hips and drop in coverage. Minter’s toughness against the run, specifically between the tackles, and reliable angles will likely land him in the top 64 picks.
So what do you think? Like the pick? Hate the pick?
Others I considered were:
• Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
• Matt Elam, S, Florida
• Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff
