Ray Lewis has been the face of the Baltimore Ravens organization nearly from its origins in 1996. Few in the game’s history have had an impact on their franchise or upon the community that embraces it than Raymond Anthony Lewis, Jr.
This season things will change. No longer will Lewis be there to guide the team through adverse times, to make those invaluable last split second pre-snap reads or inspire his teams and even the fans to dig down a little deeper and give all you’ve got to the man beside you – for the fan beside you.
Saying goodbye to Ray won’t be easy and it might not really hit his adoring fans until no one emerges from the tunnel at 12:50PM on Sunday, September 15 when the Ravens host the Cleveland Browns in their home opener.
His absence may be surreal.
And while Ray has moved on to pursue other endeavors including a gig on ESPN, he’s also physically moving. His home in Reisterstown is up for sale and it can be yours for the price of $1.1 million
Here’s the listing with pictures throughout the home, even Ray’s amazing trophy closet.
