The Baltimore Ravens announced their preseason schedule Wednesday afternoon, with the slate featuring homes games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Redskins. Baltimore will also play at the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.
In their preseason opener, the Ravens will host the 49ers at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 7. The following week, the Ravens travel to Dallas for their second preseason matchup (date to be determined). Both contests mark the first time the Ravens have faced either team during preseason play.
In the third week (date to be determined), Baltimore hosts the Redskins in what will be the eighth preseason meeting between the two teams. (The Ravens hold a 5-2 series lead.)
Baltimore closes out its preseason schedule at New Orleans on Thursday, Aug. 28. This is the Ravens’ second-ever preseason game against the Saints, with the first also taking place in New Orleans during the 2005 campaign. (The Ravens won that game, 21-6.)
Two of the Ravens’ four preseason opponents – San Francisco and New Orleans – earned playoff berths during the 2013 campaign. Baltimore is 42-29 all time in preseason play. Under head coach John Harbaugh (2008-13), the Ravens have compiled a 15-9 record during the preseason.
