Nick Markakis is no longer a Baltimore oriole. Let’s reminisce on his years in orange and black, vent some emotions, and then try to get level-headed and decide whether or not the Orioles actually made a good baseball decision here.

What happened? Josh offers his “projection” on what made negotiations break down.

Ngata Good Idea

This week started badly enough for the Ravens, as they lost a last-minute heartbreaker to San Diego. Adding insult to injury, Haloti Ngata was then suspended for the rest of the regular season for using Adderall.

Why the heck do these athletes take this drug when they know it’s illegal?

Back to San Diego, Joe Flacco played well, Justin Forsett racked up the yards, but the Ravens still lost, which is very strange and quite concerning.

This Weekend

The Ravens travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins in what amounts to a playoff game for both teams. Whoever loses will almost certainly be on the outside looking in come January, while the winner will still be in the hunt.
