Joe Flacco #10 in QB NEP Ranking

Given this controversial tweet from Ken Weinman yesterday, let’s look at another metric besides ESPN’s Total QBR which is a terrible, terrible excuse for a statistic. Net Expected Points is a stat used by our friends at numberFire to measure a players’ worth to a team. It’s a cumulative stat, based on how a player adds to the team’s chances to score on any given drive. Joe Flacco is ranked 10th with a 2014 Passing NEP of 97.40 and 9th in NEP/Pass with a score of .20/pass (minimum 200 passes). You’ll need a premium subscription to look at the full rankings. LINK
