On Wednesday, we linked to an article out of Chicago criticizing the Ravens for the Trestman hire. Now, we get a different sentiment out of Chicago similar to the narrative lauded around Baltimore: Marc Trestman wasn’t a fit for a head coaching job, but he’s great for a coordinator position. After Martellus Bennett, the Bears talented tight end, said that Trestman struggled to control all of the personalities in the locker room, he praises him for his ability as a play-caller and calls him strategically great.
