The Baltimore Ravens have a history of letting our players walk for bigger contracts elsewhere. This offseason has been no different. A lot of familiar names will be in new places.
The biggest (literally) of those has got to be Haloti Ngata. When Ngata was first traded fans and media were up in arms and there is, understandably, some concern over replacing Ngata. Luckily, the Ravens had the foresight to have predicted this problem last year and that’s why they picked Timmy Jernigan in the second round. Still, it seems like no one has addressed the elephant in the room…
Who takes over as Royal Farms endorser now that Haloti is in Detroit?
Let’s take a look at the odds.
Justin Forsett 60-1: A dark-horse in this race, but this journeyman deserves to get paid! He could have signed for more money elsewhere. Instead, he made signing with Baltimore a priority.
Joe Flacco 25-1: From the mighty wing to actual fried chicken. Joe Flacco may not know much, but Joe knows chicken.
Sam Koch 45-1: Check out what’s “koching at Royal Farms.” These ads write themselves.
CJ Mosley 15-1: The only reason his odds aren’t better is because the dude may be on to bigger brands already.
Marshal Yanda 10-1: This country boy deserves some air time. I bet he could put away some wings.
Terrell Suggs 6-1: Royal Farms may want to go with someone with some name recognition. Look no further.
Brandon Williams 3-1: This guy looks like he’s made of fried chicken. He is the choice. RoyalFarms, get on it.
What do you think? Who is the most likely Ravens player to take over for Ngata?
