Draft question No. 10: Ravens’ most pressing need
Clifton Brown of CSN Baltimore discusses the Ravens’ biggest need for the upcoming draft. Clifton Brown says that it’s wide receiver. It’s hard to argue with that considering the Ravens have a 36-year-old receiver and a group of unproven, young talents. Clifton doesn’t think the Ravens will wait past the 3rd round to draft a player to find a playmaker. It’s hard to argue that statement as well, especially when you consider the depth at the position in this draft.
Scott Garceau: Ozzie’s Best and Worst Round by Round
Scott Garceau takes a quick look at every round in Ravens history. There have been very solid picks in every round except the 7th. Even in the 7th round, Michael Campanaro has shown promise thus far in his career. He could become the Ravens best 7th round pick of all time as early as next season. Granted, there is not a lot of competition. LINK
Ravens re-sign TE Supernaw to tendered deal
The reserve tight end with the coolest name has been re-signed by the Ravens. In a tight end corps that doesn’t exactly set the world one fire, he is probably the #2 option behind Crockett Gilmore. That prospect is a little scary, but it’d be even scarier without Phillip Supernaw. Clifton Brown of CSN Baltimore has more. LINK
