Justin Tucker has become a fan favorite since he came to Baltimore. He started as a fan favorite because he starred in training camp and preseason while competing with incumbent kicker, Billy Cundiff who was fresh off of missing a game-tying field goal in the AFC Championship game in the waning moments.
Since then, he has become a fan favorite for countless other reasons. On the field, he has become the most accurate kicker in NFL history and the best kicker in the league. He has a cannon for a leg which gives him the capability of making field goals from 60+ yards away. One such kick, a game winner back in 2013 against the Detroit Lions, caused this reaction from the opposition’s sideline:
But the reasons that people love Tucker extend beyond the field. He is always willing to interact with his fans, whether in person or via the internet. Through those interactions, it’s easy to tell that Justin Tucker has a very endearing personality and a great sense of humor.
A quick look at his Twitter page shows that sense of humor. Yesterday, his personality was on full display as Tucker interacted with a fan who confused the Ravens kicker with former Giant, current Raider defensive end, Justin Tuck.

Justin Tuck (without the “er”) responded with this:
Wrong guy. Haha. @jtuck9 is who ur looking for https://t.co/LuIaAWeI0U — Justin Tuck (@JustinTuck) April 20, 2015
To which our Justin Tucker, the kicker, retorted:
This happens so frequently. Ppl probably confused because of my insane pass-rushing ability. https://t.co/tHxfx3oxYg

If Justin Tucker had insane pass-rushing ability, it would only add to his plethora of already existing talents, like kicking field goals and singing opera in seven languages.
Never stop being awesome, Justin Tucker.
