Pending the passing of a physical, the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with CB Kyle Arrington on a three-year contract, general manager and executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced Wednesday evening.
Seeing action in 87 career games (56 starts), Arrington, 28, has played six NFL seasons, the majority of which (86 games) have been with the New England Patriots. The 5-10, 190-pounder has registered 292 tackles (239 solo), nine interceptions (133 return yards and one touchdown) and 48 passes defensed during his career. He also has three sacks (-11 yards), five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
In 2011, the year New England advanced to Super Bowl XLVI, Arrington posted career highs in interceptions (seven), interception return yards (92), tackles (77) and passes defensed (15).
In 2014, he started four of 14 games played, producing 34 tackles, one sack, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery en route to New England winning Super Bowl XLIX.
Arrington originally signed as a rookie free agent with Philadelphia in 2008, spending most of the season on the practice squad. In 2009, he played in one game with Tampa Bay before being released and signing with the Patriots.
