Brendon Ayanbadejo on American Ninja Warrior

The former Ravens special teams ace and linebacker has turned his training into a different athletic activity. In this qualifier, he looks like he’s going strong, but doesn’t quite make it on a part of the course called “the spin cycle.” Start it at 6:30 to watch him go (and stick around for the boy scout after if you have time).

Brent Urban has a valid excuse for missing OTAs yesterday

Yesterday, John Harbaugh announced at his press conference that Brent Urban missed practice due to personal reasons. Apparently, one fan wouldn’t be satisfied until he found out exactly why. He questioned Urban’s work ethic for missing the voluntary practice after missing his entire rookie season with an injury.

Brent Urban Tweet

The tweet has since been deleted. Urban also thanked fans for their support in a later tweet.

5 observations from OTA workout

Bo Smolka of CSN Baltimore recaps yesterday’s OTAs which were open to the media. He observes that the defensive line has a LOT of options, including the 1-2 punch of Timmy Jernigan and Brandon Williams and the rookie Carl Davis. He also makes observations about Darren Waller, the secondary, Za’Darius Smith, and Justin Forsett. LINK

Official Jerseys of Perriman, Williams, and Allen

Darren Rovell tweeted a photo of all the rookie jerseys. The picture includes Maxx Williams’, Breshad Perriman’s, and Buck Allen’s jerseys. Perriman and Williams are on the far left. Allen’s jersey is on the right.

The Top 5 Potential 2015 NFL Draft Busts

Joe Redemann of numberFire lists the 5 first round picks most likely to bust. He puts Breshad Perriman in that category. Although I don’t think that Perriman will bust, I think it’s a fair assessment. As is usually the case when analysts raise concerns regarding Perriman, the drop rate is the mean reason for Joe’s doubts. LINK

Please help this family get back on their feet

“My dad is a stage 4 cancer survivor and has now lost his job. I’m bipolar 1 rapid cycle and am on and off of jobs. We need money to keep our house, our van and insurance…along with prescriptions and the regular bills. We have cut so much of the fun things out of our lives we just don’t want to be homeless and without medication. We are asking for anything that you can do to help from $1 to anything you can. Please please help us, if we can do anything in return let us know.” LINK

About Tyler Lombardi

Tyler has followed Baltimore sports his entire life. His favorite player growing up was Steve McNair, so he was ecstatic when he became a Raven in 2006. When he’s in front of the TV watching the game, it’s best to avoid non-football discussion. It’s quite likely he isn’t listening anyway, as his girlfriend can attest to.
