NFL Coach Rankings 2015: Harbaugh 3rd Ranked Coach

Sporting News put together a list of the best coaches in the NFL and Harbaugh ranked third behind Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll. I’d rank Harbaugh higher than Pete Carroll, but it makes sense, considering Carroll has been to back-to-back Super Bowls. I wasn’t one who thought that the call to throw the ball on 2nd and goal in the Super Bowl was that bad, but I thought that might knock him down a spot or two on this list. LINK

Sorry Jason Peters, the Eagles don’t have the best offensive line in the NFL

Adam Stites of SBNation thinks that there is a better offensive line than the Cowboys’ in the NFL, but it’s not the Eagles’ line. The best OL in the league belongs to your Baltimore Ravens. That’s right; we’re getting more recognition from national media. Adam points to the fact that, besides the Broncos, the Ravens were the only team to allow less than 20 sacks to support his claim. And of course, he also mentions Justin Forsett’s incredible season. LINK

Suggs calls out ‘baiting’ Deflategate question, answers anyway

Terrell Suggs has always hate a personal rivalry with Tom Brady, but he doesn’t want to pile on the Deflategate discussion. He doesn’t seem to think much of it or that it tarnishes Brady’s legacy. He’s more concerned with what is happening with the Ravens, as Clifton Brown of CSN Baltimore tells us. LINK

The NFL Team That Is Solving Millenials

Those darn kids and their smartphones. It seems like they need them in their hands at all times! Coming from the same generation as players now entering the NFL, I can relate to looking around a classroom and seeing everyone on their phones. The 49ers have decided to do something about it, as Kevin Clark of the Wall Street Journal tells us. Instead of the typical two-hour meetings, the 49ers are now holding 30 minute meetings with 10-minute smartphone breaks. They’re also avoiding the use of pen and paper entirely by turning to tablets to teach the players the playbook with visual examples. It will be interesting to see whether other teams follow suit. Steelers to bring back the bumblebee uniforms in 2015

For once, I agree with Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. He talks about the Steelers’ stupid rugby-looking, ugly bumblebee uniforms, which are coming back for 2015…again. It will be the 4th year in a row that our eyes are subjected to the torture of looking at them. As Florio says, “the 1934 version of the uniform of the Steelers is one aspect of history that, in the opinion of some, should be permanently forgotten.” LINK
