Top K Player Ratings in Madden 16
Guess who tops the leaderboard for kickers in Madden 16. Of course, it is our very own opera-singing extrovert, Justin Tucker. He has 95 kick accuracy and a league-best 98 kick power. As someone who has played Madden for years, kick power is the most important part. It’s great that those outside of Baltimore are starting to realize how great he is. LINK
Ravens safety tears bicep, expected to miss season
Aaron Wilson reported yesterday that the Ravens don’t expect Matt Elam to play this season. Obviously, this is very disappointing news, but a doctor with 17 years of sideline experience and a former head team physician, Dr. David J. Chao thinks that Matt Elam may be an IR-designated to return candidate.
MATT ELAM @Ravens distal biceps tear could be a IR/dfr candidate. Likely surgery, 3-4 months recovery. @AaronWilson_NFL

Either way, it’s bad news for the Ravens and especially bad for a player who was determined to turn a corner this year and live up to his draft status (or at least improve upon his first two years). LINK
Sunday news and notes from Ravens: Mosley looking sharp
Clifton Brown of CSN Baltimore has been watching C.J. Mosley closely. Wearing a wrap on his wrist after offseason surgery, Cliff says that Mosley is looking 100%. He says that he has been constantly around the football, roaming sideline to sideline. I can’t wait to see how he improves in his second season in the NFL. LINK
Elam Injury, Believe It Or Not, Could Hurt Ravens
The 4th story down in Drew Forrester’s Morning Dish details how Matt Elam’s injury could hurt the Ravens. Drew thinks that there was a possibility that 2015 could have been Elam’s breakthrough injury. It’s a shame that he doesn’t get that opportunity. As Drew puts it, two years of experience is always better than two years WITHOUT experience. LINK
Top Play: Kendrick Lewis Picks Off Joe Flacco
Here is one of the “top plays” from this weekend: a Kendrick Lewis interception. It looks like the pass is a little over the head of Steve Smith, but he doesn’t see the ball coming. You would like to see the wide receiver at least get a hand on that one. LINK
Ravens Sign WR Trent Steelman, Cutting QB Jerry Lovelocke
The Ravens have cut one guy with a cool name for another guy with a cool name. A couple of years ago, the Ravens offered Steelman a rookie contract, but he couldn’t accept because of his service at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA. Now, he’s on reserve duty and ready to play football as Rob Michels of Purple Reign tells us. LINK
