The Ravens expect their 2015 first-round pick back for spring OTAs. The NFL passed the automatic ejection rule. Myles Jack could be another Thomas Davis. Upshaw gets another visit. The Browns – and their fans – do weird things.

Perriman Expected Back for OTAs

Word is that the Ravens expect 2015 first-round pick Breshad Perriman to participate in Organized Team Activities this spring. That’s nice and all, but even if they didn’t expect him back for them, would they come out and say it now? Like most Ravens fans, I’ll believe that Perriman actually exists when I finally see him take the field in game action.

NFL Passes Automatic Ejection Rule for 2016

If a player gets two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in a game, they’ll now be automatically ejected. Touchbacks are now going to be spotted at the 25 instead of the 20. Both of these rule changes are one-year experiments, which is good, because they both sound awful. Mark Sessler of NFL.com has more details, as well as other rule changes that passed.

Myles Jack Scouting Report

It seems like every day that goes by brings more and more buzz surrounding the Ravens potentially ending up with UCLA’s Myles Jack in the draft. Want to know more about the linebacker? Head on over to Pro Football Focus for their scouting report, where they compare him favorably to Carolina’s Thomas Davis.

Falcons Meeting with Courtney Upshaw

Courtney Upshaw has drawn very little interest in free agency, but after meeting with the Jets last week, it looks like he’s getting another visit, as the Atlanta Falcons have invited him in. Matthew Chambers of The Falcoholic (HA!) seems appropriately unenthused about the prospect of having Upshaw on his team. Sign him, Mr. Blank, and lemme get that compensatory pick.

Cleveland Fans Choose Manziel Over Jim Brown

In one of those brackets that always pops up this time of year, Cleveland.com is having folks vote in a tournament of 16 players each from the Browns, Indians, Cavaliers, and Ohio State Buckeyes. In round 1, Johnny Football took down NFL icon Jim Brown. Yikes. Maybe that city did deserve to have their NFL team taken away from them, after all. (Kidding, Cleveland. But – social media rigged or not – what are you doing here?)

Oh, the Browns are also apparently doing this:
