Kenneth Dixon dodges a bullet. Some former Ravens get nice welcomes in their return. John Harbaugh wants to get rid of preseason games. Joe Flacco returns, and looks sharp. Matt Elam never had a chance.
The bad news is that Kenneth Dixon will be out for at least a month. The good news is that the injury isn’t nearly as bad as it looked to many of us watching on TV.
I’m thinking season ticket holders would be fine with that.
Haloti also says he’d like to be back after he’s done with the Lions. Just can’t get enough of that Royal Farms chicken.
Joe went 11-for-16 for 94 yards, and was getting the ball out quickly. He seems to be developing a quick rapport with Mike Wallace, whom he targeted six times.
This has been a hot topic on our RSR message board for years – is there a disconnect between the Ravens’ scouting department and coaching staff? Baltimore Beatdown’s Kyle Barber says that Elam was never put in a position to succeed in Baltimore. Could you say the same about Arthur Brown?
And in O’s News…
Over at ESR, Steve Caimano points out a sobering reality, that the O’s have started pitchers with an ERA+ of below 100 (100 = average) in far more of their games than their division rivals.
